If
your car is stolen anywhere in the UK, a signal is
sent, from the car, to the RAC Trackstar National
Control Centre. New signals are sent every 20 seconds. |

The
integral computer, developed by Trafficmaster Plc,
the UK’s leading journey management company,
provides the vehicle’s exact location, speed
and direction using GPS positioning. This is more
effective than other competitive vehicle tracking
systems, which rely on the stolen vehicle being near
to an appropriately equipped police car. |

The
RAC Trackstar National Control Centre, which is manned
24 hours a day, 365 days a year, will immediately
contact the Police in the area where the car is located.
And because the Control Centre will be receiving
updated information every 20 seconds, the Police
will be constantly updated on the vehicle’s
position. |

the Police have apprehended the thief, your car will
be returned to you by the RAC. |

The
RAC Trackstar Plus unit can be integrated
with the installed security system.
It
also provides:
- protection
against illegal movement of the vehicle,
via its unique motion sensor detector.
- full
battery back-up, which ensures that your
vehicle is protected in the event of
the battery being disconnected.
The
system automatically arms when the ignition
is switched off. This means if your car
is started or moved illegally, your RAC
Trackstar module will immediately alert
the National Control Centre and provide
the exact location of the vehicle.

will then be contacted – at one of your agreed
contact numbers – to confirm that your vehicle
has been stolen. The National Control Centre will then
contact the Police and continually track your car which
will then be returned to you by the RAC once your car
has been recovered.
