The Universal Car Communicator Becker Speech Control is a comfortable attachment to all Becker head units to built them up to mobile communication centers. It supports a variety of different mobile phones owing to its universality. Various mobile specific cradles can be connected easily to the base plate. Thus the conformity to various mobile phones can be realised without problems.

Becker Speech Control has convenient voice control. Up to 30 names can be dialled directly from the phone book. Speaker-independent number dialling is also possible. Becker Speech Control can also be operated by speaker-independent commands.

In addition to the possibility of forwarding the call directly to the radio loudspeakers or through the car radio's line-in, an earphone can be connected at the base plate.
 
  All functions in the mobile phone's car operation are supported. Echoes are suppressed by the digital signal processor (DSP). The installation kit has an integrated electronic charger as well as automatic radio muting.  
     
  The Becker Speech Control System can be operated by the buttons on the base plate or on the control unit. An action button accepts an incoming call or ends a call and activates voice control (Push-To-Talk/PTT). Operation is continued by voice dialogue. Two other buttons serve to adjust the volume, which is done independently of the mobile phone used. Just pressing the rapid dial button -a stored phone number (e.g. workshop, breakdown service) will be dialled automatically.
